The catalogue from the major and record-breaking auction held on November 9, 2015. 34 pieces by 23 artists were offered, and 24 pieces were sold. The artists represented are: Archipenko, Balthus, Cezanne, C. Close, Courbet, W. De Kooning, Duchamp, L. Freud, Gauguin, Giacometti, Kirchner, Koons, Leger, R. Lichtenstein, Miro, Modigliani, Y. Nara, Picasso, R. Prince, Rodin, Toulouse-Lautrec, A. Warhol, and C. Wool. The highly illustrated and annotated catalogue provides much detail about the pieces and the artists. At least four of the sales broke artist records. The Modigliani, Lichtenstein, and Courbet artwork set world auction records for the individual artists. One Gauguin work set a world auction record for a sculpture by the artist. Modigliani's "Nu couche" was the top seller at more than $170 million. And you can see all of the work here, for far less.
