With images rendered in vivid color and with more than 500 paintings by over 140 artists, the catalogue gives an idea of the work of almost all significant artists of that time. Featured is the large collection of works by leading painters of Flanders: P.P.Rubens, A.Van Dyck, J. Jordaens, and F.Snyder. A brilliant collection of works by the head of the Flemish school of art of the XVII century P.P.Rubens, including 22 paintings and 19 sketches, has global significance. Important place is given to the works of these Flemish masters in the 5 exhibition halls on the second floor of the New Hermitage."
