Begins with a poem by Paul Eluard, and then relevant quotes from Leonard de Vinci, Charles Baudelaire, Eugene Fromentin, Paul Cezanne, Felix Bracquemond, Jules Michelet, Theophile Silvestre, Honore de Balzac, and Guillaume Apollinaire. The second part is an "Eloge de Jacques Villon" by Rene-Jean. The illustrations are interspersed throughout. #108 of 1800 copies. This copy is SIGNED BY Paul Eluard on the title page.
