The program of the 1938 dedication ceremony for this library at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Includes BW portraits of B. F. Fackenthal Jr. (1851-1941), funder and namesake; and John Ahlum Schaeffer (1886-1941), then F & M's president and distinguished alumnus; as well as various exterior and interior photographs of the library. The building was renovated in 1983, and in its new incarnation, it became the Shadek-Fackenthal Library.
