Each of the 55 works from the collection features an in-depth annotation, and an iconologica for each is provided by Giuseppe Adani. The appendices include bios of each artist represented as well as a bibliography. A lovely, large, bw photo of the Fava family closes the book. Works are by Italian artists living between the mid-1400s and very early 1800s. A beautiful book with thorough information.
