A history of the bulk carrier ship named Joseph G. Butler Jr., written by the namesake's grandson. Includes many BW illustrations. The Butler was renamed the Donald B. Gillies in 1935, and the Grovedale in 1963. It was decommissioned in 1973 and used as a dock in Hamilton, Ontario. Sadly, the ship was scrapped for metal in 1981. A nice piece of maritime and family history, here.
