One year's worth of this early art periodical, with the volume number taken from the title page. Lavishly illustrated with smaller engravings depicting artwork, furniture, designs, sculptures, etc. Includes four illustrated articles about sights seen at the 1876 Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia. The 36 main full-page engravings are page-protected. Still nice, and terrific for browsing. The swirling flyleaf marbling is attractive.
