Issued in conjunction with a 1997-1998 exhibition of Navajo blankets owned by American singer Andy Williams (1927-2012). Yes, THAT Andy Williams. With an extensive essay by Ann Lane Hedlund, and an introduction by Bill Pearson, who calls his friend "Andrew." The exhibition checklist cites 50 items, and 41 are pictured here. Includes a bibliography. According to Wikipedia, Williams's Navajo blanket collection was sold at auction after his death for just under $1 million. Here, you can see a nice selection of them for considerably less.
