Vol. I: Covers turned to brown; head/foot of spine damaged; one signature loosening at top; light-moderate foxing throughout, although some plates are clean; one folding plate (map) has a large chip at bottom edge. Several plates suitable for framing. Vol. II: Tight text block. Age toning to page edges and foxing to some; damp staining to bottom edge of several pages; spine detached and laid in (missing top/bottom inch). Vol. III: Tight binding with edge/corner wear and rubbing to back cover. Clean interior but with light foxing to publication pages. A good reading set. Item #147319
