This is the text volume to accompany the missing 5 folio volumes of illustrations. This volume includes a brief general introduction, followed by XXIII sections listing/annotating 1770 items of various kinds of glass; IV sections listing 206 items of enamel; and VII sections listing 294 works of pottery. With a concordance of each section. Greau was an insatiable collector, particularly of glass, and this collection was purchased by J. Pierpont Morgan and gifted to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1917.
