Text in German. Frame and shape in space: reflection on a paradigm of modern architecture. Lichtblau, a native of Vienna, was a freelance architect and also worked for the Wiener Werkstatte. After emigrating to the US in 1939, he became a professor architecture at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
