This sale took place April 14 and 15, 1910 in NYC and was conducted by Thomas E. Kirby of The American Art Association. A short missive by the artist explains his reasons for selling these items at this time. 77 lots were sold the first evening, and 227 lots were sold during two sessions tyhe next day. lengthy and meaningful Introduction has been written by John La Farge describing the artist as well as the works in this estate auction. The first night saw 124 lots sell, and 128 lots were sold the second and final night. Some works are priced in pencil, but not all. Very rare.
