The main catalogue follows, with each item described in both languages (more extensively in Russian), followed by the color plates of same. A glossary, index of items, source information, literary overview, bibliography and list of abbreviations (the latter three in Russian only). Exquisite images of tapestries, clerical vestments, liturgical textiles, gonfalons (heraldic banners) and more, littered with pearls, gold thread, gem stones and the most intricate stitches imaginable.
