Text in Russian. A governmental publication of monuments and civic building. Although published during the Soviet era, the book highlights mostly older buildings, from the 1100s to the earlyl 1800s. Extensive text, clear, full-page bw photographs, a bibliography and index. A very thorough study and a beautiful, mid-century style publication.
