Anna was a Greek princess, historian, scholar, physician and philosopher, born in the Porphyra Chamber of the Imperial Palace at Constantinople (Istanbul). The Porphyra Chamber is commonly known as the Purple Chamber. This history is rare, as it was written by a woman, especially a princess, and about the reign of her own father. This copy itself is rare as well. A real historical treat!
