A sale of 1,460 lots stamps from Great Britain that come from the most important collection to appear on the market in more than 50 years. Assembled by Sir Gawaine Baillie, 7th Bt (1934-2003), the collection was almost entirely unknown to international collectors and boasts highlights not seen on the market for several decades. The sale was the fourth in a series of ten auctions, with an estimated value for the entire collection of $20 million. Foreword by Richard Ashton.
