Marcel Chappy (1896-1983) was a young French architect at the time of this compilation. The buildings portrayed vary in style and location, though were considered "modern" at the time, in the 1920s. Nine are from the US (New York and Chicago), and all the rest are from Europe. Exterior shots as well as elevations and architectural plans are included, but not always both for each building. Chappey's one-page introduction is written in French; a one-page glossary defines key terms in French, English, and German. Pictorial survey of modern international architecture.
