Good (ex-library with expected marks. perforation stamp on frontispiece, title page, and pg 1 and a few plates in both volumes--about 2 plates in 1st and 12 in 2nd. volume 1 has a few stray pencil notes and stains on occasional pages, likely from a reader, maybe 12-20 pgs total plus their facing plates? some minor wear and toning to cloth of both). It is said elsewhere that this edition was limited to 250 copies, but that limitation is not found in this set.
