Beautiful, full-color, full-page plates of examples of traditional dress from German-speaking areas of the Sudetenland (northern, southwestern and western regions of the Czechoslovakia with large populations of German speakers). Intro by the folklorist Hanika, who was a German nationalist. ( "Wir wollen, daß Deutsch bleibt, was Deutsch ist, und Deutsch wird, was Deutsch war!") Each plate is exquisitely detailed, showing a man, woman, or child in traditional dress. Each plate is titled and signed (reproduction signature) and each explained in detail in Hanika's text.
