Reproduces 29 original volumes. Sabin began this monumental effort, publishing volume I in 1868. The work was finally completed in 1936 and published by N. Israel of Amsterdam. The beginning of Volume XXIX has this note: "Begun by Joseph Sabin, and continued by Wilberforce Eames and Completed by R. W. G. Vail for the Bibliographical Society of America". Volume 1: binds together volumes I through part of XV, with entries from "A" through part of "P". Volume 2 binds together the remainder of "P" entries through "Z", volumes XV to XXIX.
