VG-, light damp staining along the top of the wraps on front cover, soiling along spine and some marks on covers, spine is brittle if you lay the book open flat, some images have ghosted on to opposite pages. This particular copy has an original sketch and inscription by the artist to the previous owner inside. Limited run of 1200 copies. Plates and reproduced sketches are interspersed throughout the text, which chronicles the life and work of Vertes.
