The catalogue from the exhibition held June 5 - September 2, 1985 at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. The intent was to show some of the finer representational work being created outside the U.S. Drawing is the foundation of all the works that allies these very individuated artists. Represented are Avigdor Arikha, Arthur Boyd, Juan Cardenas, David Hockney, Francesco Messina, Rodrigo Moynihan, Isabel Quintanilla and others.
