Darley created the illustrations for this sumptuous volume. The book was orginally published anonymously in Boston in 1845, but the author was eventually discovered to be a Rev. Judd from Augusta, Maine. There are 30 lithographed engraved plates, each accompanied by a page of text. Most uncommon. Measures 13 x 18 inches.
