An incomplete set, but most useful nonetheless. Part 1 (Moyen Age): text missing, lacks plates 4,5,11 and 12 out of 12. Part 2 (Renaissance): Includes plates 1,2,3,5 out of 12, but no text. Part 3 (1574-1643): complete, outer wraps broken at spine. Part 4 (1643-1715):all text, all plates present. Part 5 (1715-1774): all text, all plates present. Part 6 (1774-1789): complete. Part 7 (1792-1799): complete. Part 8 (1799-1815): complete. Part 9 (1815-1830): complete. Part 10 (1852-1870): complete. A few plates have very minor dampstaining, as does the silk covered portfolio. If you need a few of these plates to complete your set, or simply can live withought the bulk of the first two parts, then this set will suit your needs perfectly.
