Texts in French; these are two books of Scribes comic works comprising Vols. 4 (Le Diable a l'Ecole, La Par du Diable, La Sirene, Ne Touchez pa a la Reine) and Vol. 5 (La Fee aux Roses, Giralda, La Chanteuse Voilee, Marco Spada) and Vol. 6 (La Prison d'Edimborug, L'Estocq, Le Chalet, Le Cheval de Bronze, L'ambassadrice) and Vol. 7 (Le Domino Noir, Le Fidele Berger, La reine d'un Jour, Les Diamants de la Couronne); the third book matches but is of other (serious) works (La Muette de Portici, Le Comte Ory, Le Philtre, Robert le Diable, La Juive, Les Huguenots, Le Prophete); the only reference we could find in any way was a mention of this series quoted by JSTOR on the Internet. We checked both US and European web sites.
