Scarce book. An excellent reading copy of an edition known on Worldcat only for its microfilm edition. The first volume of essays, or discourses by this architect. Another volume followed around 1881. Although not the finest copy, certainly quite nice and serviceable if one were inclined towards investing money in the book.
