Text in Latvian; a beatiful book of photographs of Riga (including several of the city's Art Nouveau architecture, for which it is famous); each photo described. The book seems to be divided according to architectural style, in chronological order, and done as a comparative study. For example, photographs on the left-hand page are of bulidings in other parts of the world, and on the right-hand page, of buildings in Riga with the same/similar architectural style. All in all, a beautifully-done and educational book about European architecture, with excellent views of Riga. Although written in Latvian, you can figure out what's what in this book without needing to know the language.
