VG+ internally; all plates in excellent condition and text pages unblemished, although very edges of corners are brittle, and some have tiny chips; paper wraps have somed wear, and some are separated, front from back. A complete set in the original parts, Each volume holds 30 plates, and next to each is a separate page of descriptive text. Volume I includes a biographical sketch about Turner, an engraving of a statue of Turner, and a list of plates nos. 1-30. Volume II includes a list of plates 31-60. As this is an un-bound set, these plates would be suitable for framing without disturbing a beautiful leather binding.
