Entire text is in French. This volume represents part 1, De l'Horloge Gothique a la Pendule Louis XV. Winthrop Edey's copy; a well-known clock, watch, and photography collector who lived in New York City. NOTE: This title originally was published in 1949; although not stated, this must be the second edition, also published by Tardy's firm (he was deceased at the time, per a note by Edey), owned by his son-in-law.
