Nakis Panayotidis presented an extensive exhibition of his installation in bronze and neon titled "Thief of Light" at Warehouse B1 of the S.M.C.A. in Thessaloniki. The installation was inspired by Greek mythology and in particular, the myth of Prometheus.Panayotidis lives and works in Switzerland and as he noted, the installation -which was on public display for the first time- was created based on the firm and strict architectural structure of the Warehouse. His intention was to construct an art space developing rhythmically with references to notions such as sanctity, worship, myth and memory.Text essays are presented in English, French and Greek.
