Lists 1683 items which were being offered. Other copies of this catalogue have Included a cover letter that accompanied this catalogue to all museums in America four weeks prior to the catalogue being sent to private individuals. This copy contains a letter to a private buyer dated March 13, 1944 wherein it is stated, amongst other things, that the sale is soon wrapping up. A pricelist for some items is included at the rear, and some marginalia in green ink is aloso present. A very nice copy of an astounding reference, and a solemn reminder of what went on in the US during WW2.
