Certainly uncommon in any condition. The Huai River and Conservancy Project's history; Yellow River and Huai Drainage Area; projects previously proposed and those recommended by the board; distribution of benefits; cost of the project. The Huai River conservancy area comprises the drainage areas of the Huai River, the Inner Grand canal, the Yi River, the Sze River, and the Shu River. Land reclamation. Controlling the Huai River continued to be an issue far into the late 1900s, especially more devastating flooding occurred.
