This booklet lays out a plan for St. John's College in Annapolis to acquire, restore, and preserve four colonial houses--the Hammond-Harwood, Brice, Pinkney, and Peggy Stewart houses. Includes brief historical background on each of the houses, their architecture, etc., and some financial details of the proposal to allow the college to become the stewards of these historical dwekllings. Nice bw photographs. A good insight into early preservation efforts and goals.
