Catalogue from the exhibition of 12 April to 15 May, 1919, of 285 works by Yugoslavian artists. The country of Yugoslavia had been formed only a few months before, at the end of WWI. Included is a prefatory essay or 8 pages (in French) by M. Andre Michel, respected French art historian, who mentions the hostile circumstances, the destruction and how this exposition is the "manifestation d'art" - an appeal to the consciences of all people and that the artists represented are delegates to the Congres de la Paix (perhaps referring to the Congres/Conference de la Paix for the Treaty of Versailles). 14 of the bw plates are works by Ivan Mestrovic. Included is an alphabetical list of the artists. Quite scarce, even in this condition.
